� ��' <br /> / / <br /> ]J8�� <br /> AGENDA ATTACHMENT 4 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY POLICE INFORMATION NETWORK <br /> BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> (THE PIN BOARD) <br /> ARTICLE I <br /> PURPOSE FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 1. To approve and adopt operating procedures subject to PINS Rules and <br /> Regulations and PIN Operations Nanuals, <br /> 2. To regulate use of PIN Terminal as outlined in PIN Policy and Procedures <br /> Manual. <br /> 3. The hiring, firing and setting priorities will be the responsibility of <br /> the Chairman of the Board. <br /> 4. The officers of this Board will be appointed by the County Manager. <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> 1. The principal office of the PIN Board shall be located at 105 East <br /> Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina, 27278. <br /> 2. The permanent mailing address for purpose of all notices and <br /> correspondence is 100 West Rosemary Street, Chapel Hill, <br /> North Carolina, 27614' <br /> 3. All PIN records and books shall be kept at the office of the <br /> terminal sight, and restricted to authorized personnel. <br /> ARTICLE III <br /> MEETINGS OF THE PIN BOARD <br /> 1.l Meetings of the PIN Board may be called by the chairman, or in his <br /> absence or incapacity, by the vice chairman, for such time and at <br /> such place in the County of Orange, as may be specified in the call. <br /> 2. Any business of the PIN Board may be considered and acted upon in <br /> any such meeting of the PIN Board. <br /> 3- A majority of the members of the PIN Board shall constitute a <br /> quorum. Mn business may be transacted and no action may be taken <br /> without a quorum. <br />
