In a memorandum dated April 29, <br /> Mr. Gattis submitted his resignation effective June 30, 1981. <br /> All of the Commissioners have high personal regard for <br /> Mr. Gattis, and appreciate the service he has performed in <br /> 30 years with the County. Mr. Gattis became eligible for <br /> full retirement benefits in March of this year. <br /> The Board will proceed immediately with recruitment <br /> for his replacement. <br /> 1 , <br />
