Terms of the Certificate. <br /> The certificate granted shall he for such term and <br /> under such conditions as the Board may deem necessary and <br /> shall cover such area of Orange County as the Board shall <br /> deem necessary, provided that any franchise granted may be <br /> suspended or revoked by the Board after a hearing held upon <br /> thirty ( 30) days notice to the certificate holder. 'No <br /> certificat e may be sold, assigned or transferred nor in any <br /> way vest in any other person than the applicant to whom the <br /> certificate issues . <br /> Section 13. Violatons <br /> Violation of any provision of this ordinance is a <br /> misdemeanor punishable as provided in N.C. Gen, Stat . §14-4 . <br /> This ordinance may also be enforced by injunction or other <br /> appropriate remedy as provided by law. <br /> Section 14 . Separability. <br /> If any section , subsection , sentence , clause , <br /> phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held <br /> invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent <br /> jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, <br /> distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not <br /> affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof. <br /> -10- <br />
