OF NORTH CAROLINA, INC. <br /> TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CABLE TELEVISION <br /> SYSTEM WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH <br /> CAROLINA ORDAINS: <br /> Section I. Declaration. <br /> Pursuant to Section XVIII of the Orange County <br /> Cable Television System Ordinance, as amended November 24, <br /> 1980, the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina hereby declares the operation and maintenance of the <br /> unfranchised existing CATV system and service of Alert Cable <br /> T.V. of North Carolina, Inc. , within the unincorporated areas <br /> of Orange County, a pre-existing permitted use which may be . <br /> continued by Alert Cable T.V. of North Carolina, Inc. , its <br /> successors and assigns, as prescribed in this ordinance. <br /> Section II. Grant and Term. <br /> Subject to the terms and conditions of the Orange <br /> County Cable Television System Ordinance and the other terms <br /> and conditions of this ordinance, Alert Cable T.V. of North <br /> Carolina, Inc. , its successors and assigns, is hereby granted <br /> for the term of fifteen (15) years from and after the <br /> effective date hereof as prescribed in Section VI (d) of the <br /> Orange County Cable Television System Ordinance, the right, <br /> privilege and franchise to operate and maintain a cable <br /> television system and service in the unincorporated areas of <br />
