FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> FFA WEEK - 1981 <br /> WHEREAS, The Future Farmers of America with vocational <br /> agriculture; and <br /> WHEREAS, members of the FFA are playing an outstanding role <br /> in assuring the future progress and prosperity of our nation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the FFA motto--"Learning to do, doing to learn; <br /> earning to live, living to serve" gives a direction of purpose <br /> to these future leaders for tomorrow's agriculture; and <br /> WHEREAS, the FFA performs the valuable service of develop- <br /> ing leadership, encouraging cooperation promoting good citizen- <br /> ship, teaching modern agricultural information, and inspiring <br /> patriotism among its members, <br /> THEREFORE, WE, The Orange County Board of Commissioners, <br /> do designate the week of February 22-28; as FFA WEEK. <br /> —--- <br /> Anne Barnes, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
