r <br /> The scattered development refers to a constant, minimum amount of growth that <br /> will occur in the rural areas of the Township, regardless of the amount of 'in- <br /> fill ' of vacant land within the Town's jurisdiction. This constant has been <br /> projected to be the land required to settle 9% of future Township population <br /> growth, which represents the estimated percent of the 1980 Township population <br /> residing outside of the Town's planning area. It has been assumed that this <br /> constant rural density growth will be equally distributed throughout the rural <br /> fr <br /> areas of the Township. "Spillover" development refers to that growth which <br /> after absorbing 75% of the suitable vacant land within the Town's jurisdiction, <br /> will begin to overflow into the rural areas of the Township. <br />
