Fairview Area Issues <br />a), Park Planning Process Update <br />The Master Plan for Fairview Park was approved by the County Board on April 10, 2006. After <br />subsequent discussions related to the proposed land swap, the Town Board approved the <br />Master Plan on December 11, 2006. County staff has developed a draft Request for Proposals <br />(RFP) for engineering, permits and construction drawings for Phase 11 of the park. This RFP <br />should, be published in the next 7-10 days, and proposals solicited and due by mid-April. <br />Selected firms would be interviewed and a recommended contract award (along with .proposed <br />Phase 11 facilities to be constructed) for the work would come back in May. <br />If the project remains on schedule, construction bids would be solicited in spring 2008, with <br />construction to begin summer 2008. <br />Staff will provide any other information at the meeting, and the Boards can discuss planning for <br />the park as necessary. <br />No Attachments <br />
