TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A CABLE <br /> TELEVISION SYSTEM WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH <br /> CAROLINA ORDAINS: <br /> Section I. Grant and Term. <br /> Subject to the terms and conditions of the <br /> Orange Orange County Cable Television System Ordinance and t -le <br /> other terms and conditions of this Ordinance, Village Cable of <br /> Orange County, Inc., its successors and assigns, is hereby <br /> granted for the term of fifteen (15) years from and after the <br /> effective date hereof, the right, privilege and franchise to <br /> construct or have constructed, operate and maintain 3 cable <br /> television system and to operate a cable television service in <br /> the unincorporated areas of Orange County, North Carolina for <br /> the purpose of providing cable television service to the <br /> , . <br /> citizens of the unincorporated areas of Orange County, and for <br /> that purpose to erect, install and construct upon, across, <br /> • - beneath and along any street or road all necessary cable and <br /> other equipment and facilities as may be necessary and <br /> appurtenant to the cable television system. In addition, this <br /> . ; <br /> right, privilege and franchise shall extend to property rented <br /> or leased from other persons, including but not limited to any <br /> public utility or other grantee, franchisee or permittee, in <br /> order to do business in the unincorporated areas of Orange <br /> County.
