Ward, Director <br /> RE: Budget Objectives for 80-81 County Budget dated 02 June 1980 <br /> In order to conserve time and space we are replying to goals for each program wit <br /> repeating the goal as stated in referenced budget document for this Department. <br /> AAministrative - 610; pg. 55 <br /> 1) Objectives achieved except for Chore Service Program. Management is aware of <br /> 2) Objective achieved <br /> Childress Services - 611; pg. 57 <br /> 1) Although average caselaods remain below 48 average per worker protective, sery <br /> have been maintained without an increase in staff. <br /> 2) Objective achieved at this point in budget year <br /> 3) Objective achieved at this point in budget year <br /> 4) This objective is difficult to track as all contacts are not required to be <br /> reported. We believe goal is being achieved. <br /> 5) Objective shieved at this point in budget year <br /> Day Care - 612; pg. 59 <br /> 1) Objective exceeded with use of additional Federal and State funds. <br /> 2) Objective achieved <br /> 3) This has been achieved by using State funds to finance Title XX eligible chili <br /> as needed. <br /> 4) Transportation goal has exceeded projections. <br /> Foster Care - 613; pg. 61 <br /> 1) Due to manpower emphasis on Permanency Planning and reduced need for foster p1 <br /> ments - licensing homes pAbrity has been reduced. <br /> 2) Only one training session has been held in first two quarters due to manpower <br /> shortage. Other sessions are being planned. <br />
