The ENGINEER shall present the above feasibility report to the Orange <br /> County Commissioners, and at their direction shall then prepare appli- <br /> cations for grants for funding of facilities proposed in the feasibility <br /> report. However, the ENGINEER shall not be required under this agree- <br /> ment to prepare lengthy environmental statements (in excess of about <br /> four pages) for these grants. <br /> III. The COUNTY shall pay the ENGINEER a fee based on the following unit hourly <br /> charges: <br /> Engineer $35,00/hour Jr. Draftsman $16.00/hour <br /> Planner 27.00/hour Survey Party 35,00/hour <br /> Technician 24.00/hour Inspector 18.00/hour <br /> Sr. Draftsman 20.00/hour Secretary 14.00/hour <br /> The total fee paid to the ENGINEER shall not exceed $1,500. The fee shall <br /> become due upon completion of the feasibility report and the grant appli- <br /> cations; or upon completion of the feasibility report itself if the COUNTY <br /> elects not to apply for grants. <br /> Iv. The ENGINEER shall complete the feasibility study and be prepared to pre- <br /> sent it to the Orange County Commissioners not later than one month from <br /> the date of this agreement. The ENGINEER shall prepare the grant appli- <br /> cations as expeditiously as possible after being given directions to do <br /> so by the Orange County Commissioners. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said COUNTY OF ORANGE, N.C. has caused this instrument <br /> to be executed and attested by its duly authorized officers, and the said THE <br /> JOHN R.
