ACQUISITION OF SMALL VEHICLES Your budget adopted last spring included funds to establish a fleet of compact vehicles that get substantially greater mileage per gallon than the typical vehicle now available to County personnel . This acquisition would be financed through a budget appropriation and a lease purchase agreement. Vehic would be acquired under the State Contract. The staff recommends the County acquire 26 vehicles: a) 12 four-door Chevettes with standard transmission $64,503,96 b) 6 four-door Chevettes with automatic transmission 33,900. 18 c) 4.
