Section 7. County regulations. <br /> A. Every ambulance operated under a franchise, granted <br /> hereunder shall be occupied by two persons who possess valid <br /> certification. One of these may be the driver of the ambular <br /> - 4 <br /> B. In addition to possessing the above certification, <br /> persons on each ambulance should be 18 years of age and shall <br /> have a currently valid certification evidencing successful first <br /> aid training or emergency medical care as set forth in the EMS <br /> law of thd 1975 North Carolina General Assembly and thd Medical <br /> Care Commission. <br /> C. Every ambulance franchised hereunder shall carry publit <br /> liability insurance against injury to persons and property <br /> damage in an amount not less than $25,000.00 in respect to any <br /> one person, $50,000.00 in respect to any one accident, and <br /> $10,000.00 in respect to property damage. <br /> Section 8. Operation of Ambulance . <br /> Thd operators of ambulances franchised hdrennder shall <br /> operate said ambulance in a careful manner and shall comply with <br /> all statutory speed limits, right of way tagulations, and all <br /> other highway safety laws enacted by the 'State of Mirth Carolina <br /> and all municipal ordinances of cities and towns in whic such <br /> ambulance is being operated, whdthdr such vehicles are being <br /> • operated on official busineSs, an emergency or otherwise: <br /> • Section 9. Certificate Required <br /> A.
