Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 25 Chair McKee noted the following items at the Commissioners' places: <br /> 26 - Green sheet: Revised- Item 6-j - Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2016-2017 <br /> 27 - PowerPoint for item 7-a <br /> 28 - PowerPoint for item 8-a <br /> 29 <br /> 30 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 31 Chair McKee dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 2. Public Comments <br /> 34 <br /> 35 a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> 36 Dr. Todd Wirt, Orange County Schools' (OCS) Superintendent, thanked the Board <br /> 37 of County Commissioners (BOCC) for the moment of silence. He thanked the Board of <br /> 38 County Commissioners and County staff for their support during the budget process. He <br /> 39 noted the increased compensation for employees, and that the majority of their <br /> 40 employees received a supplement increase. He said the BOCC's support of public <br /> 41 education is greatly appreciated. <br /> 42 Tinka Jordy (dressed as a hand-made frog puppet) said she is here to promote <br /> 43 the Hillsborough Art's Council parade in October, and to thank the BOCC for allowing <br /> 44 some of the puppets to be displayed in the meeting room. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 b.
