To consider authorizing execution <br /> of 'local funding match contract with DOT. <br /> NEED: On March 19, 1985, the Board approved a resolution authorizing <br /> the Aging Department to apply for Transportation Development <br /> Plan (TDP) grant funds. At that time, the local match was $600 <br /> or 10% of the grant award, $6,000. After unsuccessful efforts <br /> to attract qualified consultants at this amount, DOT increased <br /> the; grant funds to $9,400. Therefore, the local match was <br /> increased to $940 or 10% of the total grant amount. As stated <br /> in March, the County needs to update its WP with the assistance <br /> of a Transportation Consultant. The County can not be consi- <br /> dered for future vehicle replacement funds until a five year RDP <br /> (1985-90) is prepared. <br /> IMPACP: Funds will be expended from the Department on Aging Budget. <br /> • <br /> REQ)MEM)ATION(S): <br /> Authorize $940.00 local match and execution of forthcoming <br /> contract with DOT. <br />
