Under the adoptaJ Orange County Zoning Ordinance an attempt is made to both <br /> define bona fide farm and to distinguish those types of farming operations which, <br /> by their nature, would not be exempt, but would be subject to local regulation. <br /> � Specifically, these reoulated operations include specialized horticultural <br /> • operations. � � <br /> . <br /> The Orange Cbunty Zoning Ordinance includes, in Article 4.3 Permitted Use Table, <br /> provisions which ecoonize greenhouses as permitted uses within certain zoning <br /> districts. The Ordinance further distinguishes between Greenhouses with on-premises <br /> sales of producte and those without on-premises sales. The establishment in a zoned township of a greenhouse opor- <br /> , ation meeting all local regulations would receive a zoning permit on request. <br /> • <br /> BUILDING ORDINANCE . <br /> CE <br /> . <br /> • <br /> Building permits t be issued Upon request for the <br /> . which meets all Idical regulations. Specifically, these regulations would include <br /> the Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance-, Sedimentation and Erosion Contol , <br /> Ordinance and Flotid Damage Prevention Ordinance. In issuing a building permit, <br /> the application for the proposed structure must be reviewed to assure that the <br /> site is not subjedt to a grading permit; that the structure if located where <br /> proposed, would ' the structure <br /> is to be located is a legal lot of record; and that, if the structure is to be <br /> located in a zone township, there will be no more than one principal use of the <br /> lot of record, all applicable setbacks and dimensional requirements will be satis- <br /> fied and the use the structure is either permitted in the district as a use of <br /> right or on the ba Lia of the issuance of a special use permit. <br /> . <br /> _ �o� <br />
