000217 <br /> MODIFICATION OF IMPERVIOUS SURFACE RATIOS <br /> ISSUE: An inquiry has been made regarding the expansion of an <br /> exiisting industrial establishment in Orange County . <br /> The owner has experienced difficulty in complying with <br /> the impervious surface ratio (12%) required for a site <br /> witiin a protected watershed and served by well and <br /> septic tank. The problem may also exist for other <br /> residences, businesses or industries. <br /> Draft proposals of the Research Triangle Council of <br /> Governments included provisions for flexibility <br /> through special use permit procedures.
