-- <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Apply a polyurethane roof and coating system over all of the <br /> existing built roof. <br /> Remove and properly dispose of all gravel, dirt and debris. <br /> Repair blisters j loose plys, damaged flashing, and nail back <br /> counter flashing and correct any condition which may <br /> adversely affect the performance or application of the foam <br /> system. Applylprimer to all surfaces to be foamed. Spray <br /> and apply foam with thicknesses sufficiently varied to <br /> provide pitch to drain. There shall be a minimum one inch <br /> thick monolithiC coating of urethane foam. The foam is to <br /> be carried a miriimum of eight inches from the roof line at <br /> penetrations and parapet walls. All exposed foam to be <br /> coated with asphalt roof mastic, ASTM 2823, Type 2, fibrate <br /> roof coating fcr cold application. Top surfacing shall be <br /> ceramic #11 roofing granules. Color to be chosen at time of <br /> award from manufacturer' s standard colors. <br /> Work found to be in violation of these specifications or not <br /> in accordance with established workmanship practices and <br /> standards will be subject to complete removal and a proper <br /> replacement withl new materials at contractor' s expense. Do <br /> not apply materials on wet or damp surfaces or over dust, <br /> dirt or other foreign matter. <br /> MATERIALS <br /> PRIMER shall be Foam Systems Company-PS 120 or approved <br /> equal. Shall be applied at the rate of one-half (1/2) <br /> gallon per 100 square foot. <br /> POLYURETHANE shall be Foam Systems Company 234, three (3) <br /> pounds per cubicI foot UL Class 1, UL 723 or approved equal. <br /> Each drum shall be so marked. <br /> COATING shall be asphalt roof mastic, ASTM 2823, Type 2 <br /> firate roof coating for cold application. <br /> 1 <br /> GRANULES shall be ceramic #11 roofing granules applied at <br /> the rate of fifty (50) pounds per square foot. <br /> 1 <br />
