It was <br /> noted by Planning Board Chair Alice Gordon that <br /> the Chapel Hilt Planning Board had suggested the <br /> possibility of having another public meeting on <br /> January 14 rather than a public hearing . A <br /> public meeting would permit more public input <br /> prior to a formal hearing . <br /> The Board of Commissioners approved the schedule <br /> oflmeetings except for the January 14 date. <br /> Chair Willhoit indicated he would contact the <br /> Toan of Chapel Hill for clarification . <br /> IMPACT: On October 28, 1985, the Chapel Hill Town Council <br /> approved January 14, 1986 as the date for a <br /> public hearing on the Joint Planning Area Land <br /> Use Plan. The action was taken as part of <br /> Council 's adoption of a meeting schedule for the <br /> Y <br /> ear 1986. <br /> I x' <br /> Retaining January 14 as the public hearing date <br /> would insure no further delays in the <br /> presentation of the plan for public comment . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Reaffirm January 14, 1986 as the public hearing <br /> data for the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan . <br />
