OFD SUBDIWSION REcumnoNs TEXT AMEMMERTS <br /> Planner Susan &filth presented for consideration the proposed <br /> Subdivision Regulations text amendments as submitted to public hearing on May <br /> 28, 1985 and as Modified and recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to approve the text amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance as listed on <br /> pages of these minutes. <br /> VCWE: UNANIMOUS: <br /> Planner Susan Smith presented for Board consideration the proposed <br /> Zoning Ordinance Text amendments as submitted to public hearing on May 28, <br /> 1985. The Planning Board recommends approval of the proposed amendments to <br /> Articles V , VI and VII of the Zoning Ordinance regarding watershed standards <br /> and home occupations and Section VI of the Subdivision Regulations regarding <br /> watershed standards. They further recommended that the existing definitions <br /> of "fare and farming" be retained in the Zoning Ordinance and that the <br /> County Attorney be requested to investigate the possibilities of obtaining <br /> express statutorx authority to define farming. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board for the proposed <br /> amendments to Article V, VI, and VII of the Zoning Ordinance regarding <br /> watershed standards and home occupations and Section VI of the Subdivision <br /> Regulations regarding watershed standards, as listed on pages of <br /> these minutes. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> hUTE: N3 ACTIM1 TAKEN ON THE DEFINITIONS OF "FARM" AND nPARMING". <br /> Planner Susan Smith presented for consideration of approval the <br /> proposed text amendments to Articles VI, VIII, and XX of the Zoning Ordinance <br /> submitted to public hearing August 26, 1985. The Planning Board recommended <br /> approval of the amendments, including the amendment to Article 8 as drafted by <br /> the County Attorney. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded birCremissioner <br /> Carey to approve the recomendation of the Planning Board including the <br /> amendment of Article VIII as drafted by the County Attorney as listed on pages <br /> of these minutes. <br /> VCRE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> Planner Susan Smith presented for consideration the extension of <br /> time limits on 11(5) planned development amendments whose approvals have <br /> expired. The following projects have been issued Special Use Permits, but <br /> have not initiated construction activity because of required additional Town <br /> of Chapel Hill and federal approvals and permits necessary: <br /> BROOKSTONE APAMTMENTS (approved 11/20/84) <br /> OPC ALCOHOLIC REHABILITATION CENTER (approved 11/5/84) <br /> The following project has not been issued a Special Use Permit because of <br /> delay in obtaining Town of Chapel Hill approvals and permits required for the <br /> issuance of the permit: <br /> SEDGEktOD APARTMENTS (2/19/85) <br /> The following ptOjects have not been issued Special use Permits because <br /> revised site plans have not been submitted: <br /> OCCONEECHEE POINT I (approved 11/5/84) <br /> OCCONEE(HEE POINT II (ap)roved 2/19/85) <br /> The Planning Boa0 recommends approval of an extension of the planned <br /> development rezonings for the aforementioned projects for six (6) months to <br /> allow additional time to obtain appropriate permits and approvals and to <br /> initiate construction activity. <br />
