Any sewer connection not approved by <br /> the County may be disconnected by the County and service <br /> refused to those participating in the unauthorized connection <br /> or its use. <br /> XIII. COMPLAINTS - ADJUSTMENTS <br /> A. If a user believes any statement of <br /> charges to be in error, the user may present a claim in <br /> person to the Orange County Planning Department before the <br /> statement becomes delinquent. Any such claim made after the <br /> statement has become delinquent will not be effective in <br /> preventing discontinuation of service as provided in these <br /> rulei and regulations. The user may pay such statement under <br /> protest and the payment will not prejudice the claim in case <br /> an error is found. Adjustment will thereafter be made for <br /> any uch error. <br /> B. Request for special meter readings or <br /> • test will be governed by the rules and regulations <br /> • established for that purpose by Orange County and its agents. <br /> 1 XIV. RETURN CHECK FEE <br /> Each check for payment made payable to the <br /> County is accepted subject to collection. A service fee of <br /> will be charged for each instance when such • <br /> check is not honored for payment by the bank or other <br /> institution upon which it is drawn.
