The Private Road <br /> Standards require the approval of the Board of County <br /> Commissioners on Class A roads serving minor subdivisions. <br /> NEED: Board of Commissioners ' approval of a Class A private road is <br /> required before a minor subdivision can be approved for Lot 2 <br /> of the Covered ' Bridge Subdivision . Covered Bridge is a <br /> subdivision of land in tracts over 10 acres in size and is <br /> not defined as a subdivision subject to County regulations <br /> under G. S. 153-335 "Subdivision" Defined . <br /> Staff is recommending a Class A private road given the number <br /> of Lots served by Gait Way. <br /> IMPACT: A minor subdivision of Lot 2 in the Covered Bridge <br /> subdivision could occur if a Class A road is approved . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides . <br />
