Note this paragraph will be added at the and of Section <br /> 4. <br /> SECTION 8 <br /> Section 8 Mandatory Standards for Land—disturbing Activity <br /> No Land—disturbing activity subject to the control of <br /> this ordinance shall be undertaken except in accordance <br /> with the following mandatory standards: <br /> NOTE: The word "mandatory" will be added before "standards". <br /> = d. Design and Performance of Control Measures — erosion and <br /> sedimentation control measures, structures, and devices <br /> shall be so planned, designed, and constructed as to <br /> provide protection from accelerated erosion and sedimenta- <br /> tion from the calculated peak rate of runoff from a ten— <br /> year frequency storm . <br /> NOTE: The words "protection from" wilt be substituted for <br /> "control of" in the Ordinance. <br /> e. Prior Plan Approval — No person shall initiate any Land— <br /> disturbing activity if more than 20,000 square feet is to <br /> be uncovered unless, thirty or more days prior to initi- <br /> ating the activity, an erosion and sedimentation control <br /> plan for such activity is filed with, approved by, and a <br /> Grading Permit obtained from the County. <br /> NOTE: The above paragraph will be added at the end of Section <br /> 8. <br /> SECTION 9 <br /> Section 9 Permanent Downstream Protection of Stream Banks and <br /> Channels <br />
