007 <br /> 3 <br /> F. The County shall not be liable for damage of any kind whatsoever <br /> resulting from sewage or the collection of sewage from the customer's <br /> premises, unless such damage results directly from negligence on the <br /> part of the County. The County shall not be responsible for any <br /> damage done by or resulting from any defect in the piping, fixtures <br /> or appliances on the customer's premises. The County shall not be <br /> responsible for negligence of third persons or forces beyond the <br /> control of the County resulting in any interruption of service. <br /> G. Under normal conditions, the customer will be notified in advance of <br /> any anticipated interruption of service. <br /> VII. CCNSUMER'S RESPCNSIBILITY <br /> A. Piping on the customer's premises must be so arranged that the con- <br /> nections are conveniently located with respect to the County's lines <br /> or mains. <br /> B. The customer's piping and apparatus shall be installed and maintained <br /> by the customer at the customer's expense in a safe and efficient <br /> manner and in accordance with the County's rules and regulations and <br /> the sanitary regulations of the State Board of Health and the State <br /> Division of Environmental Management, plus passing the plumbing <br /> inspection. <br /> C. The customer shall guarantee proper protection for the County's <br /> property placed on the customer's premises and shall permit access to <br /> it only by authorized representatives of the County. <br /> D. In the event that any loss or damage to the property of the County or <br /> any accident or injury to persons or property is caused by or results <br /> from the negligence or wrongful act of the customer, his agents or <br /> employees, the cost of the necessary repairs or replacements shall be <br /> paid by the customer to the County: and any liability otherwise <br /> resulting shall be assumed by the customer. <br /> E. The amount of such loss or damage or the cost of repairs shall be <br /> added to the customer's bill. <br /> VIII. EXTENSIONS W LINES AN) SERVICM <br /> A. Sewage collection lines to serve undeveloped subdivisions will be <br /> handled as follows: <br /> 1. The extensions must be in accord with the overall plan to serve <br /> Efland and subject to approval of County's Engineer. <br /> 2. Prior to approval of the lines to be extended to serve new <br /> developments, approvals must be obtained as follows: <br /> a) subdivisions - preliminary subdivision plat musts be approved <br /> by the County, including preliminary plans for sewer lines. <br /> b) planned developments - if the lines are part of a planned <br /> development application preliminary plans for sewer lines must <br /> also be approved. <br /> 3. The extensions must be consistent with GOal 9.3 of the Land Use <br /> Plan which *prohibit the establishment of public water and sewer <br />
