005 <br /> 1. <br /> ONS <br /> OP ORANGE COUNTY <br /> FOR THE EFLAND SEWER SYSTEM <br /> I. CLASSIFICATION OF SERVICE <br /> All services are classified under one category to include residen- <br /> tial, schools, churches and commercial users. <br /> II. RATE SCHEMA AND AVAILABILITY FEES <br /> A. Rate Schedule: <br /> (The following schedule is based upon monthly water consumption.) <br /> First JASOgallons @ $ 15.20 flinimum <br /> Each Additional 1 000 gallons @ $_4.40 M <br /> (or portion thereof) <br /> This rate schedule is subject to change based upon actual cost of <br /> operations. <br /> B. Availability Fees: <br /> Each person, firm, or corporation connecting to the system, other <br /> than those initially connected from among those initially applying <br /> for connection, shall pay a $600 per customer availability fee to the <br /> County and a $400 per customer availability fee to the Town of <br /> Billsboroughs. Both the County and Tbwn reseve the right to raise <br /> the amount of the fee to whatever is the prevailing rate. <br /> Those persons, firms, or corporations initially connecting, from <br /> those initially applying for connection, shall be exempt from the <br /> availability fee. The Board of County Commissioners will establish <br /> by Resolution deadlines for initial application and initial <br /> connection. <br /> III. APPLICATION FOR SERVICE <br /> A. Persons seeking service will make application for service, in person, <br /> at the office of the County Planning Department and at the same time <br /> make the deposit guarantee required below. In addition in no case <br /> will sewer be provided until a Sewer Use and Easement Agreement is on <br /> file signed by the property owner. <br /> B. The application may be rejected if the service fails to meet condi- <br /> tions set forth under article XIII or if the service would adversely <br /> affect service to other customers or for other good or sufficient <br /> reasons. <br /> C. The County may reject any application for service to new developments <br /> which are not consistent with zoning, subdivision and land use plan <br /> provisions. <br /> D. The County may reject any application for service when the applicant <br /> is delinquent in payment of bills incurred for service previously <br /> supplied at any location.
