The 1 .41 acres of property is <br /> located east of the existing facility on the south side of Old <br /> NC 10 and is referenced as Tax Map 45, part of lot 32 in <br /> Hillsborough Township. <br /> The applicants previously submitted a proposed secondary Land <br /> Use Plan amendment for the entire 4.34 acres of property. This <br /> request for an amendment from Rural Residential to Transition <br /> Area and Commercial Industrial Transition Activity Node was <br /> submitted to public hearing on May 28, 1985. In the Board of <br /> Commissioner's review of the request for decision, the Board <br /> determined that too much new information had been submitted <br /> after the public hearing and directed that the request be sent <br /> back to public hearing as a new request on August 26, 1985. <br /> The Board also directed that the rezoning requst for the same <br /> property be considered at the same public hearing. <br />
