• <br /> 039 <br /> STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ADOLESCENTS-IN-NEED PROJECT <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE CONTRACT RENEWAL <br /> THIS CONTRACT RENEWAL, made and entered into this 19th day <br /> of July, 1985, by and between Orange County, party of the first part, and <br /> The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Pediatrics, <br /> party of the second part. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> THAT WHEREAS, a Contract has previously existed between the same <br /> parties which are parties to this agreement, the subject matter of said <br /> previously existing contract being a joint effort of the Department of <br /> Pediatrics of the University, the Orange County School District and' other <br /> community agencies in northern Orange County designed to help adolescents <br /> become successful parents and thereby reduce the incidence of child abuse <br /> and neglect with the Department of Pediatrics having responsibility for <br /> management of the project, and it being dated July , 1984. <br /> 'WHEREAS, a copy of said previously existing Contract is attached to this <br /> document and is hereby incorporated herein by reference as though fully set <br /> forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties to this agreement desire to continue and renew the <br /> relationship set forth in the said previously existing Contract; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and agreements <br /> and any sums to be paid, the parties agree that the previously existing Contract <br /> which has been incorporated by reference herein is hereby renewed and reaffirmed <br /> on identical terms and conditions except as set forth below: <br /> 1. The term of the Contract will begin on the 1st day of July, 1985, <br /> and end on the 30th day of June,1986. <br />
