4. Prohibition Against Discrimination. Rape Crisis agrees to abide by <br /> all restrictions on the use of public funds, including the prohibition against <br /> discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicapped <br /> status; and the requirement to pay all employees doing similar work at the same <br /> wage scales. <br /> 5. Objectives. Rape Crisis agrees to continue its services to residents of <br /> Orange County and to maintain the level of professional services to as full an <br /> extent as possible considering program and financial limitation. <br /> Specifically, Rape Crisis agrees to the following: <br /> 1. To provide 24-hour telephone information and support, emergency assis- <br /> tance, legal support.and companionship, and face-to-face counseling <br /> to victims of sexual assault, and their families and friends. <br /> 2. To have a trained Companion available at all times by maintaining a <br /> pager in Orange County. <br /> 3.. To provide education on the subject of rape to community groups <br /> and individuals. <br /> 4. To offer instruction and education on rape avoidance and rape <br /> prevention, including self-defense. <br /> 5.. To maintain professional liability insurance covering all volunteers <br /> and staff with the Center as long as financially possible; to notify <br /> the Center if this liability insurance lapses. <br /> 6. To provide quarterly statistics to the Orange County Coordinator on <br /> the following services rendered: <br /> a. Number of clients served through Companion services. <br /> b. Number of community education programs provided. <br /> c. Number of persons reached in community education activities. <br /> d. Number of groups reached in outreach activities. <br /> e. Number of new Rape Crisis volunteers trained. <br /> f. Number of volunteer hours contributed in service to the <br /> . community. <br />
