The purpose of the request <br /> is to permit higher density residential development than is <br /> presently allowed. <br /> The property in question is lot 28 of Orange County Tax Map. <br /> 3 Hillsborough Township . The present zoning classification <br /> is R-1 Residential, while the requested designation is <br /> R-3. <br /> The property is located within an area designated as 10 <br /> year Transition . <br /> IMPACT: Approval of the request would allow a density of 15,000 sq. <br /> ft . per dwelling unit instead of the 40,000 sq. ft . that is <br /> presently allowed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Board recommends approval of the request . <br />
