06'7 <br /> 17 <br /> intended to be used by residents of the <br /> development only and that the furthest Lot <br /> was 1/2 mile away. <br /> Collins introduced the June 6, 1985 Letter <br /> from Ralph Cochran. <br /> No citizen comments were received. <br /> Mayor Massif requested that direction be <br /> provided to Town staff on the review of <br /> proposals and application of standards. He <br /> noted the development is likely to be urban <br /> in nature and questioned the adequacy of <br /> the local road network. He continued that <br /> the development should not be considered a <br /> neighborhood unless adjacent vacant Land <br /> was included by nature of the design . He <br /> inquired how the road network is affected <br /> by this development, especially <br /> improvements to Weaver Dairy Road. He <br /> noted that consideration of the local road <br /> network is incumbent on the governmental <br /> units so that developers of undeveloped <br /> land have some guidance on the projected <br /> road network. He continued that the survey <br /> of the projected continuation of Sage Road <br /> across Erwin and Weaver Dairy Roads should <br /> be completed prior to approval of the <br /> project and that the site plan should be <br /> revised accordingly. Mayor Massif further <br /> commented on drainage and power Line <br /> impacts on lot design, maintaining that <br /> these easements should not be part of the <br /> Lots . He commented that pump stations may <br /> be a legitimate proposal in this case. <br /> Planning Board member Margison inquired <br /> when Weaver Dairy Road will be improved . <br /> Manager Taylor responded it is to be <br /> widened to 5 lanes and is a high priority <br /> project . <br /> Planning Board member Yuhasz inquired if <br /> Chapel HiLL has a roadway network Plan for <br /> undeveloped land in its jurisdiction in the 1 <br /> joint planning area or, if not, what ideas <br /> should be used to guide us in consideration <br /> of how these stub—outs are to be developed . <br /> Mayor Massif responded there is no plan in <br /> place and that staff <br /> i p f should attempt to <br /> address the road network to serve <br />
