RESOLUTION B <br /> 0314 <br /> A RESOLUTION DENYING A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR CHANDLER'S <br /> GREEN SUBDIVISION (SD-25-0-11) (85-R- b) <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the <br /> Council hereby fails to find that the Preliminary Plat for Chandler's <br /> Green Subdivision located on property identified as Chapel Hill Township <br /> Tax Map. 25, Lot 0-11, proposed by Allenton Realty Company, dated May <br /> 29, 1985: <br /> • <br /> 1) Would be located, designed, and proposed to be operated so as <br /> to maintain or promote the public health, safety and general <br /> welfare (Sec. 7.1 of the Development Ordinance) ; • <br /> 2) Would comply with all required regulations and standards of the <br /> Development Ordinance, including all applicable provisions of <br /> Article 7.6.1 .2, and with all other applicable regulations. <br /> The reasons for Council's failure to make these findings are that: 1) the <br /> public traffic safety would not be maintained or promoted on Weaver <br /> Dairy Road and Erwin Road in the vicinity of the proposed development; <br /> and 2) the public health, safety, and general welfare would not be <br /> maintained or promoted by the location and utilization of sewer pump <br /> stations in the New Hope drainage basin. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council hereby denies the preliminary <br /> subdivision plat required for said development. <br /> This the 1st day of July, 1985._ <br />
