P R O C L A M A T I O N <br /> WHEREAS, THE North Carolina Department of Transportation has <br /> designated. September 15-21 "Clean Up Litter Week" <br /> on North Carolina highway; and <br /> WHEREAS, THE orange County Board of Commissioners recognizes <br /> the benefits derived to the County when the <br /> highways and streets in the County are litter free; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, THE Board of Commissioners recognizes the negative <br /> impact on visitors ar4 citizens when litter is <br /> permitted to accumulate; and <br /> WHEREAS, THE Board of Commissioners wishes to encourage and <br /> endorse the concept of "Clean Up Litter Week;" <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIM MT THE ORANGE COUNTY BOAM <br /> OF COMKISSIONERS DOES HMREBY DESIGNATE SEPTEMBER <br /> 15-21 CLEAN UP LITTER WEEK IN ORANGE COUNTY. <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCIADW that the Board of Commissioners <br /> encourages all citizens of Orange County to parti- <br /> cipate in Clean Up Litter activities in their <br /> neighborhoods. <br /> TEES, the ............................. day of September, 1985. <br /> Don kilholt, Nair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
