036 AGREEMENT <br /> this agreement, entered into this day of <br /> and between joint Orange Chatham Community Action, hereinafter referred 1985 to by <br /> as lljocCAol and Orange County on behalf of the Dbpartment on Aging, herein- <br /> after referred to as the County. <br /> The' purpose of this agreement is to outline -the conditions under which <br /> JOCCA -and the County will cooperatively provide transportation to orange County <br /> Senior Citizens and hereby formally agree with each of the *following: <br /> -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOCCA <br /> I.' To lease -two (2) vans and two (2) minibuses'in the County for daily senior <br /> citizen transportation for Southern Orange, Efland, Cedar Grove, <br /> ough areas. and Hillsbor- <br /> ough <br /> To lease the following identified vehicles: <br /> 1977 Chevrolet Mini-bus License No. MEC733 <br /> 1983 Ford Maxi-Wagon MR. . No. 7 1,. (white)-,- L;kcenipe No,: 8215(1r Fl <br /> 1979 Dodge van with lift (blue) - License No. XZH-204 <br /> 1984 International Mini-bus (CAT No. 1) - License 84501-P <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES or THE COUNTY <br /> 1. To reimburse JOCCA $1.00. per year for each leased vehicle'. <br /> 2. To provide all gas, maintenance, repairs and insurance. on each JOCCA <br /> leased van. (Collision and liability) <br /> 3. To allow JOCCA access to its leased vans, with approved driver, when not <br /> scheduled for use, for a rate of not more than 30� per mile. <br /> 4. To operate and schedule the use of the leased Vehicles on behalf of senior <br /> citizens and approved groups according to the Orange County Transportation <br /> Board Policy and procedures. <br /> 5­ To complete all required URTA vehicle operation reports and submit to the <br /> N.C. Department of Transportation. <br /> The tetm Of this 'contract shall be from July 1, 1985 through June 10, <br /> 1986 unless sooner terminated by either party giving 30 days prior written <br /> notice to the other party of intention to terminate.
