BOARD CCMEM <br /> Chair Willhoit indicated receipt of a letter from Larry Hauck, of Centel <br /> and requested that anyone with a complaint about the telephone service to <br /> contact the County Manager. <br /> E.--j=3ENCE <br /> None. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Camnigsioner <br /> Lloyd to approve the minutes for Fay 24,'1985 as circulated. <br /> VOTE: LUMDEUS. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to approve the minutes for May 29# 1985 as circulated. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> D. APRQIMN <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to appoint Mary Ann Minsley as an alternate on the Chapel Hill Board of <br /> Adjustment. <br /> Vam; UNAMOUS. <br /> Qffi= g='PLANN= MW- <br /> Commissioner Carey moved the appointment of Margaret Miller. <br /> Commissioner• Lloyd moved the appointment of Richard Roberts. <br /> Ccmdssioner Lloyd commented that, in his opinion, there is a need <br /> for more representation from the agricultural section of the County. He <br /> objected to being outvoted on most appointments to the Planning Board. <br /> Chair Willhoit requested an updated report on past appointments. He <br /> expressed his concern for underrepresentation in certain areas. Currently <br /> there are no blacks on the Planning Board. <br /> Commissioner Marshall noted she has worked for and encouraged a <br /> better geographical representation for all the Boards and Ccumissions. <br /> VOTE: Richard Roberts -Ccumissioners Lloyd and Walker. <br /> Margaret,miller-41mir Willhoit and Commissioners Marshall and Carey. <br /> 1.
