The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met ii• regular session in the Orange County Courthouse, in <br /> HiUsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 7:30 <br /> o'clock p.m. on August 5, 1985 and thereafter on August 20, 1985 in the <br /> Courtroom of the Old Post Office, Chapel Bill, North Carolina and <br /> September 3, 3985 in the Orange County Courthouse, in Hillsborough, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> Present., Don Willhoit-, Chair; -Commissioner Moses Carey; <br /> - Commissioner Ben Lloyd; Commissioner- Shirl Marshall;- Commissioner <br /> Norman Walker <br /> Absent: None <br /> The Chair announced that August 5, 1985 was the day fixed by <br /> the Board of Commissioners for the Public Hearing on the Preliminary <br /> Assessment Poll filed with the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Orange County pursuant to the direction of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners and pursuant to the Board's decision to finance the local <br /> share of the cost of paving North Carolina State Road(s) #2042 and #2043, <br /> also known as Pineview Road and Pineview Drive, in Chapel Hill <br /> Tbwnship,, Orange County, North Carolina. The Chair also announced that <br /> the Board of Commissioners would immediately hear anyone who might wish <br /> to be heard on the Preliminary Assessment Roll. Various persons <br /> appeared and were recognized and heard on the said Preliminary <br /> Assessment Roll. Those recognized and the essence of their comments were <br /> reoorded by the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners in the minutes of the <br /> Board for August 5, August 20 and September 3, 3985. <br />
