Following this action the Board <br /> received the staff recommendation to confirm the <br /> Assessment RoLL on August 20, 1985. <br /> IMPACT: Participatory Paving Program projects are considered by <br /> the Board in three phases . Phase I is the approveL of <br /> the Petition for participation in the program. General <br /> Statutes 153A-205 CI requires that prior to financing the <br /> improvements to a subdivision or residential street <br /> through an assessment program a petition for the <br /> improvements must be signed by 75% of the owners of <br /> property to be assessed who must also represent at Least <br /> 75% of the lineal feet of frontage to be improved. A <br /> petition submitted to the Board and accepted on June 3, <br />
