The 1 .41 acres of property is <br /> located east of the existing facility on the south side of Old <br /> NC 10 and is referenced as Tax Map 45, part of Lot 32 in <br /> Hillsborough Township . <br /> The applicants previously submitted a proposed secondary Land <br /> Use Plan amendment for the entire 4.34 acres of property . This <br /> request for an amendment from Rural. Residential to Transition <br /> Area and Commercial Industrial Transition Activity Node was <br /> submitted to public hearing on May 28, 1985. In the Board of <br /> Commissioner 's review of the request for decision , the Board <br /> determined that too much new information had been submitted <br /> after the public hearing and directed that the request be sent <br /> back to public hearing as a new request on August 26 , 1985 . <br /> The Board also directed that the rezoning requst for the same <br /> property be considered at the same public hearing . <br /> IMPACT: Approval of the rezoning request , pending approval of the Land <br /> Use Plan amendment , would allow Chandler Concrete to utilize <br /> Air <br /> property which it owns adjacent to the existing plant on Old NC <br /> 10 for runoff control facilities , parking and access . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Staff recommends approval of the request with <br /> conditions (SEE Attachment) . <br />
