048 ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> Frrz SBOROUGH <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> 27278 <br /> KILI;1-Trq■ <br /> oir 00.0* <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS <br /> TO THE ZONING ATLAS OF ORANGE COUNTY, N .C. <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of North Carolina , <br /> Chapter 153A , Section 323 and Section 343, Article 20 .5 and Article 20 .5 of the <br /> Orange County Zoning Ordinance, notice is hereby given that a public hearing <br /> will. be held in .the Superior Courtroom of the Orange County Courthouse , 106 <br /> East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough , North Carolina on' Monday , August 26 , 1985 at <br /> 7:30 p .m . for the purpose of giving all interested citizens an opportunity to <br /> speak for or against the adoption of proposed amendment to the Orange County <br /> Zoning Atlas . <br /> • <br /> The amendment under consideration is as follows : <br /> SUP-1-85 BINGHAM SCHOOL INN <br /> The property in question is located in the northeast quadrant of 4Ite <br /> intersection of . NC 54 and SR 1007 (Mebane Oaks Road) in Bingham Township . It is <br /> known as Lot 19 on Orange County Tax Map 17 . The area to be rezoned contains <br /> approximately 434,729 square feet or 9 .88 acres . The present zoning of the <br /> property is Agricultural—Residential (A—R) <br /> The applicant is requesting that a Class A Special Use Permit for a Non— <br /> Residential Reuse/Mixed Use of an Historic Structure be granted to allow the <br /> use of the property as a bed and breakfast establishment . <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and be heard . <br /> Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect debate , <br /> objections and discussions at the hearing . <br /> Citizens unable to attend the hearing may express their views by writing <br /> to the Orange County Planning Department , 106 East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough , <br /> North Carolina 27279 . For your concerns to be fully considered , they must be <br /> received by the Planning Department prior to. the public hearing . <br /> Questions regarding the proposals should be directed to the Orange County <br /> Planning Department . Copies of the proposed full amendments are available in <br /> the Planning Department for public review.
