One "major" subdivision
consisting of 6 lots was approved on NC 57 in 1983. Within the same area, there have
also been two minor subdivisions since 1982. Two lots were created by these sub-
divisions, one on Coleman Loop Road and the other at the southwest corner of the
intersection. The intersection lot is the site of the only Planned Development
approved within the one mile radius. That development would add a maximum of 48 •
trips per day to NC 86 upon construction.
The above mentioned projects would add 55 trips per day to NC 86 north of the NC 57
intersection. If the 41 .86 acre tract under consideration for R-3 zoning designation
is approved, an additional 706 trips would be generated, all directed to NC 86.
EK/jb
