In two weeks the Zoning Officer shall reinspect the <br /> site and if the property or use is still in violation he shall <br /> consult with the County Attorney who will, proceed with further • <br /> action where warranted. In cases where criminal prosecution is <br /> indicated the District Attorney will be advised of the facts via <br /> a conference involving the District Attorney, Planning Department <br /> staff and the County Attorney. Subsequent to this conference but <br /> before a criminal warrant is "sworn-out" the County Attorney shall <br /> write a "cease and desist" letter giving the violator five days <br /> to come into compliance and explaining that failure to do so will <br /> result in criminal prosecution. LIn cases where a civil remedy <br /> is indicated a "cease and desist" letter shall be sent to the <br /> violator indicating that the violation must be corrected within five <br /> days, the failure of which will result in civil action.] Thereafter <br /> the matter will, be brought before the Board of County Commissioners <br /> for authority to proceed in a civil action. In all cases of <br /> irreparable harm to other property owners or the County's Zoning <br /> regulations warranting immediate action, any or all of the above <br /> time periods may be shortened or suspended altogether upon <br /> the authorization of the Board of County CoMmissioners. <br /> -2- <br />
