All issuances for $300 or over shall be sent to the <br /> recipient by certified, first-class mail or is given <br /> • <br /> to the client by over-the-counter issuance. <br /> 2. Following a replacement, future issuances will be <br /> sent by certified, first-class mail or the client will <br /> . . report to the agency for over-the-counter issuance. . <br /> --- 3. The agency will report the list of monthly replace <br /> ments to the Contractor to be matched against the re- <br /> - turned mail. <br /> 4. One mail day will be selected by the County to repre- <br /> • sent all cases to be sent by certified, first-class <br /> mail. AUTHORITY OF COUNTY/CITY: The official executing this agreement <br /> covenants that he or she has authority to execute this agreement on behalf of <br /> • the County/City of Orange , and approves the proposal submitted <br /> c • <br /> by the Contractor for the services to be rendered as set forth in Section II <br /> , <br /> , of this agreement. <br /> VIII: INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR: Conformity with The Laws <br /> '1" . • <br /> (a) For all purposes of this agreement, the Contractor shall be <br /> deemed an independent Contractor, and neither the Contractor <br /> ,-: nor its agents or employees are or shall be deemed to be agents <br /> • or employees of the County/City or of the State of N.
