This request is being <br /> amended to include an area of 1 .41 acres rather than 4.34 acres <br /> as originally requested . • <br /> IMPACT: The proposed amendment would change the Land Use Plan <br /> designation of the property from Rural Residential to Ten Year <br /> Transition/Commercial—Industrial Transition Activity Node <br /> making it compatible for commercial or industrial rezoning . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Board recommends denial of the request based <br /> on a 4 to 3 vote on a motion to approve the 1 .41 acre <br /> amended request. <br /> The Planning Department recommends approval of the request <br /> provided that a smaller area of the Lot in question is <br /> designated . Staff recommends that the proposed lot Line <br /> be moved to the northwest approximately 120 feet reducing <br /> the area for redesignation from 1 .41 acres to 0.86 acres . <br />
