Chandler Concrete — LUP Amendment <br /> Presentation by Bell . <br /> This agenda item is to consider a proposed secondary <br /> amendment to the Land Use Plan submitted to public <br /> hearing on May 28, 1965 for recommendation to the <br /> Board of Commissioners . <br /> Chandler Concrete has requested a secondary amendment <br /> to the Land Use Plan for a recently merged portion of <br /> Lot #32, Tax Map 45, Located in Hillsborough <br /> Township . This request is being amended to include <br /> an area of 1 .41 acres rather that 4.34 acres as <br /> originally requested . <br /> The proposed amendment would change the Land Use Plan <br /> designation of the property from Rural Residential to <br /> Ten Year Transition/Commercial—Industrial Transition <br /> Activity Node making it compatible for commercial or <br /> industrial rezoning . <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval of the request <br /> provided that a smaller area of the Lot in question <br /> is designated. Staff recommends that the proposed <br /> lot Line be moved to the northwest approximately 120 <br /> feet, reducing the area for redesignation from 1 .41 <br /> acres to 0.86 ac-res . <br /> Gordon emphasized to the Board the change in the <br /> original request and noted Staff's recommendation for <br /> 0.86 acres instead of 1 .41 acres . <br /> Gordon continued that she had talked with County <br /> Attorney Geof Gledhill and he responded that after <br /> listening to comments , if the Board decided new and <br /> important information had been presented, it could <br /> recommend to the Board of Commissioners that a nnw <br /> public hearing be held, or a recommendation could be <br /> sent. forward from this meeting for Commissioner 's <br /> • action . <br /> • Bell continued. <br /> ISESEssmaiemes■ <br />
