• <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session in the Courtroom of the Orange County <br /> Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, <br /> at 7:30 0/Cleek on July 1 _, 1985. <br /> Present: Commissioner Moses Carey, Commissioner Ben <br /> Lloyd, Commissioner Shirl Marshall, Commissioner Norman <br /> Walker and Don:Willhoit, Chair <br /> Absent: <br /> ************************************************************************** <br /> The Chair announced that this was the hour and day fixed by <br /> the Board of Commissioners for the Public Hearing on the Preliminary <br /> Assessment Roll filed with the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Orange County pursuant to the direction of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners and pursuant ID the Board's decision to finance the local <br /> share of the cost of paving North Carolina State Road #1590, also known <br /> as Renfrew Drive, Brigadoon Drive (portion only) , and McDermott Drive <br /> (portion only) in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina. The - <br /> Chair also announced that the Board of Commissioners would immediately <br /> hear anyone who might wish to be heard on the Preliminary Assessment <br /> Roll. Various persons appeared and were recognized and heard on the <br /> said Preliminary Assessment RolL Those recognized and the essence of <br /> their comments were recorded by the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br /> in the minutes of the Board. <br /> Thereupon, upon Motion of Commissioner Walker , seconded by <br /> Commissioner Carey and carried, the Preliminary Assessment Roll for <br /> the financing by Orange County of the local share of the cost of paving <br /> -1- <br />
