Smith asked what number is appropriate. <br /> Yuhasz noted that at some point the road needs to be <br /> paved. <br /> Farrington asked why a variance could not be granted. <br /> Smith explained that the law does not allow variance <br /> to the Subdivision Regulations. <br /> Farrington asked why a public road was required. <br /> Smith responded because of the number of lots served. <br /> Farrington noted that this was family property. <br /> Smith responded that ownership could not be <br /> guaranteed over time. <br /> Walters noted most financial institutions require a <br /> 50' right-of-way for lending purposes. <br /> Gordon noted there was a question whether at issue <br /> was subdivision of Curtis Farrington's property or <br /> subdivision of all of the lots of record. <br /> MOTION: Kizer moved approval of a Class A road. <br /> Pilkey seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: 8 in favor. <br /> 1 opposed (Gordon) . <br /> Kizer noted this decision on the road class was a <br /> compromise. <br /> Adjournment time was again reached. <br /> It was the consensus of the Board, since citizens <br /> were here for questions about some of the items going <br /> to public hearing, that each one be given two to <br /> three minutes to make their statements or ask <br /> questions. <br /> Agenda Item #9a) Smith brought the Board up-to-date on illegal <br /> activities on Chandler Concrete property. Owner has <br /> ceased operation on this property and enforcement is <br /> no longer in question. <br /> Agenda Item #9b) George Horton stated that he was at the meeting to <br /> answer any questions anyone would have about the <br /> subdivision. <br /> Pilkey enquired how many exits were planned onto US <br /> 70 and Mr. Horton responded seven (7) . <br />
