The properties <br /> front on Excel. Lane, an unrecorded 20' easement. <br /> At the May 20, 1985 Planning Board meeting the Planning Staff <br /> recommended approval of a minor subdivision served by a road <br /> dedicated public and constructed to state maintained paved road <br /> standards. <br /> On May 20, 1985 the Planning Board recommended approval of a <br /> Class A road to serve the minor subdivision. <br /> At their June 3, 1985 meeting, the Board of Commissioners <br /> directed that the Planning Board reconsider this item, <br /> particularly in terms of potential density and right-of-way <br /> problems. <br /> At their June 17, 1985 meeting the Planning Board re-affirmed <br /> their recommendation of May 20, 1985, <br /> NEED: The properties in question are located in Bingham Township of <br /> NC 54 and are referenced on Tax Map 29. Several lot. owners <br /> along this road desire to subdivide their property. All, of <br /> Lots #21-31A are property of the O. T. Farrington Family. Each <br /> 7 acre and the 16.5 acre tract were created before Subdivision <br /> Regulations went into effect. Therefore, each of these lots <br /> can request a minor subdivision. At this time a 50 foot <br /> easement across all, lots can be obtained. The property owners <br /> would pursue approval of minor subdivisions if the road would <br /> be considered a Class A gravel road. <br />
