C. 27514 <br /> Dear Mr. Willhoit: <br /> In the ABC Board meeting of May 13, 1985, the matter of disposing s Po si <br /> n <br /> g <br /> of real property at our store #3 site, located on Highway N. C. 49, <br /> in Northern Orange County, was discussed. In an earlier meeting a <br /> decision had been reached to close this store because of declining <br /> sales and a lack of profit at this location. <br /> N. C. Statute will permit exchange of this property from the ABC Board <br /> to Orange County with or without consideration. The ABC Board would <br /> like for the County Commissioners to consider if they have a use for <br /> this lot and building, and if they do, the ABC Board would be willing <br /> to execute a deed of gift of the property to Orange County. <br /> The building is a block (12 inch block) building with a built up roof. <br /> • Building was built in 1959 and roof was re-roofed in 1982. <br /> • <br /> Size of building - 22' x 60' <br /> Square Feet - 1320' <br /> Size of lot - Copy of plat of survey enclosed <br /> 1 The building has 2 front doors, 1 large window at front, 1 side rear <br /> 1 door, counter with bullet resistant glass installation, and shelving. <br /> Counter, shelves and bullet resistant glass could easily be removed. <br /> We have a water line connected with our neighbor, but I feel any new <br /> . owner would need to work out their own agreement to supply water for <br /> the toilet room. This building is heated with bottle gas. <br />
