Per G.S. Section 105-349(a) of the State <br /> of North Carolina the Tax Supervisor and Tax Collector is appointed and <br /> reappointed by action of the Board of Commissioners and the length of that <br /> appointment is established by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> It can be either two years, as a minimum, or four years. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> As the Board decides. <br /> • • <br /> • <br />
