Waited 5(A4/95- <br /> 08€ <br /> May 27, 1985 <br /> Orange County Commissioners <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 <br /> Dear Sirs: <br /> I have been asked to render my opinion in regards to the effects <br /> of the proposed 40 unit mobile home park ( to be known as "Nest Ten <br /> Mobile Park" ) would have on market value of established dwellings <br /> , already located in the subject neighborhood. The request for my <br /> services was made at approximately 3:00 P. M. Friday, May 24, <br /> 1985. The short period of time has not allowed for me to do the <br /> proper research. <br /> I have read through the "draft Findings" supplied by Ms. Susan J. <br /> Smith. planner, employed by the Orange County Planning Department, <br /> to Ms. Vickie Bletso. I have also briefly toured the <br /> neighborhood. In regards to the "Findings #2: That the <br /> development will maintain or enhance the value of contiguous <br /> property" ; it is questionable that this "Finding" is supported by <br /> the applicants' statement. The packet of information supplied by <br /> Ms. Smith, does not adequately indicate that this "Finding" has <br /> been satisfied. <br /> It was noted that there are already a number of mobile home units • <br /> located within the subject neighborhood, as allowed by the present <br /> zoning ordinances.
