004 <br /> A meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, was held at Hillborough, North Carolina, the regular place of <br /> meeting at 7:30 o'clock p.m., on the 3rd day of June, 1985. <br /> Present: <br /> Absent: <br /> ************************************************************************** <br /> The &flowing resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION <br /> FOR THE FINANCING BY ORANGE COUNTY OF <br /> THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD(S) #2042 and #2043, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS PINEVIEW ROAD AND PINEVIEW DRIVE, <br /> IN CHAPEL HILL TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County <br /> has received a petition requesting the paving of North Carolina State <br /> Road(s) #2042 and #2043, also known as Pineview Road and Pineview <br /> Drive, in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North Carolina, which <br /> petition has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the <br /> owners of property adjoining the said roads, which property represents at <br /> least seventy-five percent (75%) of the lineal feet of frontage of the lands <br /> abutting the said roads, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute <br /> Section 153A-205(c); and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> elected to finance the local share of the costs of paving the said roads, <br /> as permitted by North Carolina General Statutes Section 153A-385(4) and as <br /> provided for in North Carolina General Statute Section 153A-205: <br /> -1- <br />
