Thompson, Assistant County <br /> Managers Albert Kittrell and William T. Laws, Director of Finance Gordon Baker, <br /> Director of Planning Marvin Collins, Tax Supervisor Johnny Horner, Planner <br /> Susan Smith, Director of Health Jerry Robinson, Director of Personnel Beverly <br /> Whitehead, Director of Economic Development Sylvia Price, Supervisor of <br /> Elections Bobbie Strickland, Sherriff Lindy Pendergrass and Clerk to the Board - <br /> Beverly A. Blythe. <br /> A. BOARD COMMENTS <br /> None. <br /> B. AUD;FNCE COMMENT <br /> Those present to speak on the Massage Parlor Ordinance will be recognized <br /> at the appropriate time. <br /> Dr. Jean Chapman spoke in support of the budget for Day Care. She noted <br /> that a large number of children are funded through DSS for day care. She asked <br /> for full nonmatohing money from the County for day care. There are 200+ child- <br /> ren who are pre-schoolers on the waiting list for which there are no funds <br /> available. There are openings in day care centers but no funds. <br /> C. APPOINTMENTS <br /> =MIMIC 4IC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to reappoint Norman Weatherly to the Economic Development Commission. <br /> VOTE; UNANIMOUS. <br /> JURY COMMISSION <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall to reappoint Lee Culpepper to the Jury Commission. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> AAA BOARD OF DTR Tnfa <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall to reappoint Edward Mann to the OWASA Board of Directors. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to appoint Dr. David L. Kroninger to the Board of Health. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> DOMICILIARY HOME ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall to reappoint Larry Carter to the Domiciliary Home Advisory Committee. <br /> VOTE; UNANIMOUS. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY _SENIOR CITIZENS BOARD_ <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Lloyd to reappoint Annie Fuller to the Orange County Senior Citizens Board. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> p, 1'pELIC BEARINGS <br /> - ..
